The socialist admits that his message was “unfortunate”, but blames those “who feel offended”.
An apology that seems like one, but it seems more like a half-apology. The socialist councilor of the Ponferrada City Council, Andrés Gabella, has once again used social networks to apologize for the message he had previously written on X, formerly Twitter, in which he wished that the mayor of the capital of El Bierzo had not been born, Marco Morala (PP), and that his existence would have been avoided “with a condom”. In a thread composed of two texts, Andrés Gabella expresses his conviction that “not everything happens in politics” and adds that he has no problem “apologizing for an unfortunate tweet”.
But beyond this request for clemency, the socialist representative seems to reactivate other criticisms against the mayor of the sixth municipality of Castilla y León and, in general, against the Popular Party. Among his considerations, Gabella highlights that I would like “those who feel offended to have the same criterion on all occasions from now on”. From there, the mayor explains and recalls that the socialists are “severely insulted in plenary session and the mayor remains silent”.
And adds that The PP representatives did not “open their mouths” either. to denounce these insults and when they threw blood at the PSOE headquarters in Ponferrada. He is thus referring to one of the episodes experienced a few months ago, during the protest rallies against the central government’s policy in front of the socialist headquarters in Spain.
In this case, a red liquid was sprayed on the facade of the building. An analysis requested by the Socialist Party itself confirmed that it was the blood of an animal. After this indication, Andrés Gabella concludes by emphasizing that “they have protected these terrible events with their silence and presence and they have not apologized and will not do so.”
