Guitarist and singer Titus Jacksonolder brother of the missing person Michael Jackson and one of the members of the group The Jackson 5died at the age of 70, as reported by his three children on Instagram without revealing the cause of his death.
“We are heartbroken, saddened and shocked. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being,” said Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson, who formed the trio 3T in the 1990s in keeping with family tradition.
Tito formed the famous group with his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael (who died in 2009 and is considered the King of Pop). The Jackson 5who had Motown as their first label (1969-1975) and was one of the most popular groups of their time.
From their debut album, their first four singles, “I Want You Back”, “ABC”, “The Love You Save” and “I’ll Be There”, reached the top of the US charts.
In 1984, the group released Victory Touran album on which Tito sang “We Can Change the World” and played a leading role as an instrumentalist, and the following year he participated in the USA for Africa project to raise money for people affected by famine on the continent. Tito was the third of ten children in the Jackson family.
Recently, he performed with his brothers Marlon and Jackie in England and performed at the Fool in Love Festival in Hollywood Park, California, in late August. Tito has also recorded and performed extensively as a blues guitarist over the past 20 years, both on his own label and with the BB King Blues Band.
