Last Monday, November 18, the Teatro Real in Madrid dressed up to host one of the most special ceremonies, THE BMW Painting and Digital Art Prizewho celebrated this year their 39th edition.

Faithful to tradition and once again praising its solidarity aspect, the Queen Sofia (86 years old) once again presided over the awards ceremony, making 38 times where the mother of Philip VI (56) played this important role. On this occasion, even more special if possible for the emeritus Sofía, since BMW Group delivered 500.000 euros to the Reina Sofía Foundation for those affected by DANA.

As it could not be otherwise, many well-known personalities wanted to support this charitable event with their presence. Among the participants, Cayetano Martinez de Irujo (61) and Barbara Mirjan (27), Paz Vega (48) and Eugenie Osborne (38). He also attended Carmen -Tita- Cervera (81), Baroness Thyssen and, to everyone’s surprise, her son did the same, Borja Thyssen (44).

Although during the recital they were seen together, and apparently in good harmony in the stalls -Borja in the middle, with his mother on his left and his wife on his right-, there was no family lodgebecause both parties decided so.

Although different media outlets have pointed out that Borja might not attend this meeting with culture – after Tita said in an interview that her daughter Carmen (18) would be the successor to his legacy -, with this notable reappearance, it is clear that although the atmosphere would still be somewhat farat least it doesn’t exist and you can breathe more cordiality.

While Borja and Blanca showed up discreetand they avoided making statements about their reunion with Carmen Cervera, she spoke to the media. First of all, he asserted that the superb audiovisual project which reflects his life and work continue.

It’s coming out soon. It’s another producer, THANKS“, revealed Thyssen in front of the microphones of Europe Press. Mother and son, some chronicles say, chatted, at one point in the evening, in total harmony, with certain guests, such as Anne Igartiburu (55) and Ainhoa Arteta (60).

It was at the beginning of last October that Baroness Thyssen announced the cessation of production of the documentary series that Netflix was preparing on her life. The project, announced last February, was born with the aim of telling, “in the first person”, the “history” and the “present” of one of the richest, most powerful and most influential women in Spain. However, Tita Cervera’s differences with the producer, Studio Komodohindered these plans.
