A new DANA has been installed in Spain and threatens to leave heavy rains in different parts of the territory. AEMET has already activated the storm alert in parts of the Valencian Community, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands, where the rains are expected to be heavy. Meanwhile, authorities are closely monitoring the rain radar to alert the population in case it is necessary to avoid a new tragedy like the one that occurred in almost 70 towns in the Valencian Community.
AEMET calls for great caution because in certain parts of the coast there could be overflows and flooding, although for the moment the alert remains orange.

The National Meteorological Agency’s amber warnings represent a significant hazard that can affect vulnerable property and populations in highly exposed areas. The Catalan government suspends classes in five localities
Given the arrival of a new DANA which will affect the east of the peninsula with intense storms and lead the Catalan authorities to ask their citizens to exercise caution after the orange and yellow alert situations that will be experienced in the provinces of Catalonia.
The Catalan government has officially announced mobility restrictions and suspended classes for tomorrow Wednesday, as a precautionary measure.
In total, five municipalities will be affected: Tarragonès, Montsià, Baix Ebre, Ribera d’Ebre and Baix Camp. In addition, mobility must be restricted from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Aid can be requested from the Post Office
Assistance to people affected by DANA can be requested in any Post Office or at the home of the person concerned through postmen and wallets, as Correos explains in a note sent this Tuesday. The main measure, included in the royal decree which includes the second package of measures to mitigate the effects of DANA, is to allow Correos employees to carry out information, intermediation and representation actions for the people concerned to formalize requests for available aid, as explained in this note.

Few users have published videos on social networks of the roads of Ibiza flooded due to the heavy rains which fell on Pitiusa Mayor this Tuesday. The orange alert has been activated there, as in Mallorca, and it is expected that up to 100 liters per square meter could fall within 12 hours.
