The European Union has registered the new protected geographical indication“Torrezno de Soria” in the register of protected designations of origin, according to a regulation published this Tuesday in the Official Journal of the European Union.

With this registration, the trademark “Torrezno de Soria” is now protected by intellectual property rightsas reported in a press release from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, which channeled the request for distinction in Brussels for the famous cuisine of Castilla y León.
