Milagros Tolón: “There are more than 7,000 places for the Civil Guard and the National Police”
In response to concerns about the lack of police forces in Castilla-La Mancha, the government delegate in the region, Miracles Toulonassured that all necessary resources of the security forces and agencies will be available to face any situation in the province and region. At a press conference in Toledo, together with the Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabelle RodriguezTolón stressed that under the governments of the Socialist Party, the numbers of the Civil Guard and the National Police have increased constantly.
Tolón stressed that in recent years, The number of National Police officers in Castilla-La Mancha has increased by 20%while The Civil Guard has seen a 4% increase. Furthermore, the delegate recalled that the latest public job offer from the central government includes more than 7,000 places for the Civil Guard and the National Police throughout Spain, reinforcing their commitment to security in the region. These statements come amid criticism from the Popular Party and the Jucil association regarding the alleged lack of troops in the autonomous community.
