The investigation began with the communication of a sanction file from the General Directorate of Traffic, for a possible offense against Road Safety for speedingbeginning efforts to identify the driver of the vehicle at this time, since it is a vehicle whose owner resides in the province of Córdoba.

Art. Article 379 of the penal code stipulates that an offense will be committed by “…anyone who drives a motor vehicle on an interurban road at a speed greater than 80 km/h compared to that permitted by the regulations…”, which means that at the point where the vehicle was captured, the Speed ​​Limit The established speed limit is 90 km/h for passenger cars and motorcycles, and driving at speeds above 170 km/h could constitute an offence.

The Civil Guard reminds that excessive speed, drugs and alcohol are absolutely determining factors in the possibility of suffering a road accident. Furthermore, the excessive speed aggravates the harmful consequences in all road accidents in which it is present.
