Matars – The commercial mission of the government province of East -Java with the western Nusa Tenggar recorded the final transaction in the amount of 1,068 809 135,000 rupees. This cost has greatly increased compared to the trading mission, previously consisted in 2023, with the RP251.39 billion transaction.
Even this figure is the highest transaction of the trading mission throughout 2025, exceeding transactions with the trade mission, carried out in East Kalimantan in May last year, which reached 1,053,146,943,500 rupees.
The trading mission led the Governor of Eastern Java Hofiphi Indadar Paravans at the Lombok Raya, Mataram hotel, Wednesday (9/7).
For this achievement, Governor Hofiphus expressed his optimism that the trade mission will open a wider new opportunity for business world and investment in East Java and Western Nusa Tenggar
“Alhamdulillah, the final transaction for 17.00 registered in Wita reached 1,068 trillion rupees with detailed information about the Eastern Java, selling 764 912 billion rupees, and East Java bought 153,896 billion rupees,” he said.
He added that East Java investments worth 150 billion rubles. This transaction is above the goal and, I hope, continues to develop the economy for two provinces. According to him, the results of transactions on today’s trading missions can penetrate 1,068 trillion rupees and above the target, because the East Java and NTB business emergions were formed.
“For this, let’s increase the results of transactions to ensure more joint reinforcement today and will come,” Hofif said.
The Trade Mission in the Western Nusa Tenggar took part in 200 business actors of two provinces consisting of 80 business actors from the province of East Java and 120 enterprises from the province of Western Nusa Tenggar.
“From the results of the transaction, East Java sells products for fish and shrimp, cigarettes, coffee, chili, frozen chicken, duck meat, local chicken, Batik products, fashionable and organic kitchen spices. On the contrary, Eastern Java bought tungs from a yellow fin, tobacco, corn, fishing products, County raw materials, continuous, puddles and living Kovos, ”he said.
The governor of Hofifa explained that so far the western nusa tenggar supplies a number of main goods, such as corn, tobacco, shrimp, chili and fresh paprika, root vegetables and tubers, decorative fish and other goods.
Conversely, East Java provides many goods for passenger cars, food for sweet cookies, animal feed, medicines, clean palm oils, soft drinks and other products in the western nusa tenggar.
“We hope that this trading mission has a significant impact on cooperative relations in various economic and cultural areas between the province of East Java and the province of Western Nus Tenggar,” Hofifa said.
He said that the implementation of the trading mission of the province of Eastern Java was an attempt to unite enterprises from East Java and the province of NTB.
In particular, the spread of the potential of industrial products, trade, fishing, agribusiness and other investment opportunities to satisfy the replacement of imports (raw materials) and other needs that are expected to increase the cost of domestic trade.
“This year, the trading mission, the cooperation that has been installed, increases the volume of trade and strengthens business networks, which opens wider new opportunities for business world and investment in East Yava and the Western Nusa Tenggar,” he said.
“The trading balance of the province of East Java with the province of Western Nus Tenggar began in 2023 with an excess of 5.29 trillion Rupia,” he said.
According to Hofifs, these data show that trade relations between the two provinces continue to develop, provide benefits for business consultants and stimulate economic growth in both regions.
“We are optimistic, this year’s trading mission opens a wider new opportunity for the business world and investment in East Java and the Western Nusa Tenggar, increasing the volume of trade and strengthening the business network between the eastern Java and Western Nus Tenggar,” he said.
In addition, the strategic efforts of the Government of the province of East Java to expand the market. Hofiph said that the optimization of departure and back load to facilitate the distribution of basic needs, important goods and other goods requires efforts, namely, the action of cooperation to implement the integration of the domestic market in order to increase trade between the islands.
“We want to encourage the same spirit in strengthening trade between the regions, including with the NTB province,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Governor of NTB Lala Muhammad Ikbal said that the NTB province had prepared the province of the NTB to become a supplier of raw materials for Eastern Java.
“We are trying to be a good supplier of raw materials for Eastern Java, so that relations complement and develop opportunities for business, as well as many things that I can learn from Eastern Java,” he said.
The trading mission was also signed by an agreement on cooperation (PKS) of two regional devices, nine asses and three associations of two provinces.
