The Consell de Mallorca will apply traffic reductions in the Sóller, sa Mola (Port de Sóller) and Son Vic (Andratx road) tunnels carry out the tasks necessary to review the operation of the safety and ventilation systems. The work will be carried out from this Monday nights (10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.)although emergency vehicles, such as firefighters or ambulances, and TIB buses are allowed to pass.
The island institution governed by the PP-Vox coalition indicated that this is essential work to guarantee the safety of the thousands of vehicles that circulate every day in the tunnels of Mallorca.
- Inside Son Vic Tunnel The Andratx road will be closed only tomorrow night, Monday November 11, from 10:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. For this reason, the alternative route has been activated to go to Andratx or Palma via Peguera.
- He Soller Tunnel It will be closed on the night of Monday 11, following the same schedules, until Thursday 14. The alternative route, except for emergency vehicles and public transport, is Coll de Sóller.
- Inside sa Mola tunnel (Port de Sóller) the work to overhaul the security systems will begin on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14. It will continue on Monday 18 and end on Tuesday 19. The hours will be the same: from 10:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. am.
