Traffic restrictions on access to municipalities affected by DANA in Valence are extended until Sunday

The Integrated Operational Coordination Center (CECOPI) has agreed to extend again, in this case until 11:59 p.m. next Sunday, the restriction of the circulation of private vehicles on the access roads to the municipalities most affected by DANA in the province of Valencia, taking into account the need to use heavy machinery for emergency works.

This measure, in force since last Friday evening by decree of the Generalitat, affects the localities of Aldaia, Alaquàs, Picanya, Sedaví, Paiporta, Benetússer, Alfafar, Massanassa, Catarroja, Albal and Beniparrell.

This was announced this Thursday afternoon, after the last CECOPIDirector General of Forest Fire Prevention Rosa Touris. This is a three-day extension of the same decree already in force.

Concretely, the roads concerned are the accesses and exits of the municipalities to and from the V-31 in its entirety, with the exception of the entrance to the city of Valencia, and the entrances and exits of the municipalities of kilometer 0 of the V-30 (the Port) at kilometer 9, which coincides with the access to the A-3in both directions, except when entering Valencia.

Traffic is also prohibited in the CV-33between Albal and Torrent; THE CV-36between Valencia and the “ring road”; THE CV-366southern access to Torrent; THE CV-400between Valencia and Albal; THE CV-403between Xirivella and Torrent; the CV-407, between Picanya and Sedaví, and the CV-410 between Alaquàs and the Bonaire shopping center.

As in the last two days, mobility is restricted except for compliant vehicles. some exceptions: assistance to social and health centers; respect for professional and institutional obligations; return to the place of habitual residence; assistance and care for the elderly or minors, dependent, disabled or vulnerable; urgent actions by public bodies; situations of need or major cause.
