Varnish – Farmers in Sampangs Ridensi, Madura, Eastern Java, were killed by lightning in the rice area. The tragic event occurred in the village of Jrembe Hamlet, Jeruk Porot Village, the Torjun district, Sunday, July 6, 2025.
The victim is known as Mujib (40), a resident of Kodak Tenga Hamlet, the village of Kodak, the Torjun district. During the incident, the victim was in an open area to work in the fields.
“The victim died in this place from the lightning strikes. At that time, the district washed away with heavy rain, accompanied by lightning, ”said the head of the embassy and logistics of BPBD Sampang, Mohammad Khozin, Sunday during the day.
The incident occurred around 10:30. Based on the information of residents and witnesses in this place, Lightning talks about the body of the victim directly to force him to lie lifelessly.
Officials, along with rural officials and residents, immediately went to the place to evacuate and cope.
The family accepted the incident as a disaster and refused to open on the body. The victim immediately suppressed him at the local public cemetery.
