The events that are the subject of this case date back to June 24, 2023, the date on which a strong couple argument between Enrique RQ and his girlfriend.
She had gotten into his car to leave, but he forced her out, after which the woman agreed to return to the accused’s home, located on Padre Manjón Street. However, when the complainant then attempted to leave him, her boyfriend grabbed her arm and dragged her back into the property.
Due to the helplessness she felt, the woman took advantage of the moment he was in the kitchen to jump into the street from the balcony of the house, a first floor. During the fall, the victim suffered a fracture of the right calcaneus (heel) and other injuries, not attributable to his partner.
After taking to the street, the accused brought his girlfriend back to the apartment, took her cell phone and did not take her to a medical center until the next day, around ten hours after the accident. When he took her away, he allegedly did so under the following threat: “Be careful what you say!”, to warn her that if the doctors asked her the origin of the injuries, she would answer that she would had caused while climbing.
