The National Police arrested a man in Valladolid on November 18 who is charged with three alleged crimes of violent robbery when the man attempted to rob up to three establishments, two pharmacies and a perfume store, very close to each other, in the capital, consecutively.
Both in a pharmacy and in a perfumery, the alleged attacker entered with great determination to head towards the cash registers. Police sources assure that he did it by violently hitting store counters.
Furthermore, he shouted “I want money, it’s theft” and attempted to uproot the machines, causing considerable damage. After hitting the boxes on the ground and not being able to take the money, the man quickly left the scene.
When the man entered the third of the establishments, another pharmacy, with the same purpose as the previous ones, several police units were already arriving in the streets where the previous events had occurred.
At that time, a telephone call was received in the CIMACC room at 091, alerting of the theft in the third pharmacy, so a uniformed team of the National Police immediately arrived at the scene.
The alleged perpetrator, after shouting “that he was going to kill someone”, he had snatched a laptop from the pharmacy counter and fled.
The officers found the man on the public highway in a very nervous and upset attitude, who had been stopped by an anonymous citizen, so they overpowered him and proceeded to arrest him and transfer him to the police stations.
The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, which ordered his entry into prison.
