Theories are endless and can be approached as a victory of the former president or as defeat of the outgoing administration. Let’s go in parts.
That Kamala Harris I wouldn’t have run if I had to go through the filter of the Democratic primaries, I think that’s something we all know. She is part as vice-president of a government that was not appreciated not even his. Under his mandate, illegal immigration exploded, the American economy deteriorated macro terms and microeconomic, Two wars broke out that revealed the decline of the North American country’s influence and, furthermore, left the country more polarized than it found it. In other words, they could under no circumstances base their campaign on selling the successes of their government.
What argumentation option did they have left? The left’s favorite: collectivization. The left at the global level has a serious problem which is none other than the absence of a structured project. And it compensates for this lack in the same way that all dictatorial regimes in history have done: by collectivizing citizens.
And they won the dialectical battle. no one talks about people anymorewe’re talking about people. We no longer talk about voters, we talk about the electorate. We no longer talk about citizens, we are the citizens.
But in these elections, it was the bad argument they had that led them to defeat. They demanded women’s vote for a woman share gender, blacks and asians for a black person of asian origin by share the race. And if the public was none of these, Harris only knew what to talk about abortion and another obsolete mantra.
In front of her there was a strident candidate, populist and even vulgar in his statements. Yes, you have to admit it. But there was also a candidate who knew how to understand that individual intelligence beats collective indoctrination. And even more so in a country like the United States where the welfare state that we enjoy in the United States does not exist. Spain and therefore individuals are accustomed to earning a living.
This is why Trump, in addition to insulting his opponent, knew how to get down on the field, he was a better player on the field. He spoke about illegal immigration, the economy, foreign policy and employment. And what’s more, he forgot the political correctness that people love so much. establishment and it resonates so much with voters.
The left is determined to force us to vote with our “hearts” and, pardon the vulgarity, with our crotches. And they are a little wrong on both points: the Americans have shown that the majority, at least in the United States, vote with the wallet and with the head.
If the Spanish opposition could learn anything from these elections, it should understand that political correctness looks good on paper, but that it does not reach the voter and that, and even more so in Spain in the current circumstances, collectivizes citizens and treats them. like little children.
