The US vice presidential candidate of the Republican Party, JD Vance, spoke about the role of the United States in possible negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. In an interview with NBC News, he emphasized that the United States will have to make diplomatic efforts to achieve peace between Ukraine, Russia and America’s NATO allies in Europe.
When asked about his attitude toward Russian President Vladimir Putin, Vance refused to call him an “enemy” and described him as a “rival” and “competitor.” At the same time, he noted that complex diplomatic relations with Russia do not exclude regular dialogues: “Just because we don’t like someone doesn’t mean we can’t talk.”
Vance also added that U.S. participation in the negotiations is a “necessary part” of ending the war in Ukraine, and emphasized the importance of a diplomatic approach.
Let us remember that Trump organized a real bacchanal at his election rally, threatening China and saying that “Muslims only want peace.”
A campaign rally for Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. At the event, which attracted thousands of supporters, Trump criticized US immigration policy, called undocumented immigrants “dangerous criminals” and promised to launch a massive deportation program on the first day of his potential victory.
