Trump appointed Secretary of Agriculture

Donald Trump nominated his former domestic policy advisor Brooke Rollins to be Secretary of Agriculture. The politician published the corresponding statement on November 23 on his page on the Truth Social social network.

“As our future secretary, Brooke will be dedicated to protecting American agriculture because it is the foundation of our country.” Trump said in a statement.

It is clarified that Rollins was director of the Domestic Policy Council during Trump’s first term, and has extensive experience working with the president-elect. As Secretary of Agriculture, she will focus on supporting American agriculture and rebuilding small American cities that depend on agriculture.

Earlier in the day, Trump nominated an investor to replace the new Treasury Secretary. Scott Bessen. He also clarified that Bessent could help establish the “Golden Age of America” and strengthen the state’s economy.

In addition, Trump proposed the candidacy of the former attorney general of Florida Pamela Bondi for the position of Federal Prosecutor. The president-elect highlighted Bondi’s work to stop drug trafficking and reduce drug-related deaths.

On Nov. 20, Trump nominated the former acting attorney general. Matthew Whitaker for the position of Permanent Representative of the United States to NATO. He called Whitaker a strong warrior and a devoted patriot and said he would “put America first,” Izvestia recalls.
