Trump assassination attempt suspect offered $150,000 to whoever ‘finished the job’

Ryan Routh, the man arrested on September 15 while suspected of attempted murder to former President Donald Trump on a Florida golf course, he detailed his assassination plans and admitted he wanted to commit the crime in a handwritten letter months ago, prosecutors confirmed Monday.

“This was an assassination attempt on Donald asset, but I failed“, the suspect wrote, according to the file. Similarly, in the letter, Routh offered “$150,000” to anyone “who can complete the job.”

The letter was revealed in a movement filed in court today by the U.S. Department of Justice. Apparently, it was found in a box. handed over by an unidentified civilian witness, which also contained ammunition, a metal pipe and four telephones, according to prosecutors.

Along the same lines, prosecutors noted that when Routh was arrested this month, his car contained a handwritten list:with dates in August, September and October– places where asset had appeared or was supposed to appear.

They also explained that a search of their phone records revealed that the devices had been located in the towers near the golf course asset International, where the incident occurred, and near the seaside resort Mar-a-Lago where he lives asset.

Routh was charged with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Additional charges could be filed.
