Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are tied at 48% each in NBC’s latest national poll.
These are the results of a new poll published three weeks before Election Day, which shows that Harris’ popularity has decreased compared to the previous month, the channel notes.
“As summer gave way to fall, any signs of momentum for Kamala Harris faded.” – said the democratic sociologist Jeff Horwittwho conducted this survey with his Republican colleague Bill McInturff.
Still, the poll highlights uncertainty about the election (10% of voters say they might change their minds and a small portion of undisputed voters are still undecided). The share of voters who believe this presidential election will make a “big difference” in their lives is at a record high. Third-party votes could also play a role: Trump gets a small boost when third-party candidates are included in the vote, up to 1 point, the network notes.
