Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he has information about “massive fraud” in the elections in Pennsylvania, one of the key states. In a post on his TRUTH Social network, Trump said that “law enforcement is already on the way” to investigate the posts.
“There is a lot of talk about massive fraud in Philadelphia (the state’s largest city). Law enforcement is on the way! – Trump wrote.
The former president made the announcement while voting continues in which Pennsylvania, with 19 electoral votes, remains one of the most contested states for both parties.
Previously, Trump, in a video message, called on all supporters of the Republican Party to continue voting, stand in line and not leave the polling stations until their will is expressed.
The US presidential election will take place on Tuesday. The Democratic Party is represented by the vice president. Kamala HarrisRepublican – former president Donald Trump.
The winner of the election is not determined by a simple majority system, but the position is awarded to the one for whom the most votes have been cast: the Oval Office will be occupied by the candidate who gains the support of the majority of voters. Winning a given state gives the candidate the number of electoral votes available in that state, and all but two states distribute them on a winner-take-all basis.
To win it is necessary to obtain 270 electoral votes out of 538; some American states will prefer a Democratic candidate because of the party program and regardless of the person, this is how voters vote in gubernatorial and legislative elections, while others will prefer; a republican candidate. But there are seven states this cycle that are undecided on which party to support. This year it is Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, RIA Novosti reminds.
