Trump does not rule out starting a war with Russia

Former US President Donald Trump, who is again running for the post of White House leader from the Republican Party, said he intends to end the war in Ukraine.

He accused his rival Kamala Harris of leading the US into a conflict with Russia that he believes could have been avoided. However, Trump stressed that if the need arises, the US under his presidency will be ready for war with Russia.

“By voting for Kamala Harris, you are choosing war with Russia. If necessary, we are prepared to do so, but it is best to avoid it,” Trump said.

In addition, Trump ally JD Vance, who could take over as vice president if he wins, revealed details of the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. According to Vance, the proposed plan includes freezing the war along the front line and creating a demilitarized zone. This zone will be heavily fortified to prevent Russia from invading it again.

Ukraine will retain its sovereignty but will offer guarantees of neutrality by committing not to join NATO or other allied organisations.

Vance also noted that the restoration of Ukraine should be funded by Germany and other countries. At the same time, he admitted that Russia should not have attacked Ukraine, but pointed to existing problems of corruption in the Ukrainian system.

Cursor previously reported that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe suggested Donald Trump could be considered “essentially a Russian agent” because of his interactions with Putin.
