The vice president of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, criticized the former head of the White House and her Republican opponent Donald Trump on October 12 for not publishing the results of their medical examinations for a long time.
He said he felt fine, citing the medical report released by his doctor, and noted a “lack of transparency” on Trump’s part.
“It is clear that, at the very least, his team does not want the American people to know the whole truth about him.” — he is quoted by the American newspaper The Washington Post.
In addition, he noted that he would not evaluate Trump’s suitability to serve as president of the United States. However, he highlighted that the former president “in his rallies he talks about fictional characters” and “invents all kinds of things.”
Hours earlier, Harris published a report that he was in good health, which would allow him to face the responsibilities of the head of state if he wins the election. The US vice president, 59, underwent her last exam in April. The politician only suffers from seasonal allergies and sporadic hives, Izvestia clarifies.
The next 60th presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
