US President-elect Donald Trump’s team is in talks with cryptocurrency industry representatives about creating a new White House position dedicated to digital asset policy. Bloomberg reported this on November 20, citing anonymous sources.
According to sources, Trump’s team is conducting personnel talks and interviews with potential candidates at the Mar-a-Lago (Florida) residence. As the agency noted, if such a position is created, it will increase the influence that the cryptocurrency industry has on the future administration.
