Donald Trump expressed his displeasure and resentment towards Russian President Vladimir Putin for his unexpected support for Kamala Harris’ candidacy for the US presidency. During a rally in Wisconsin, Trump said that Putin’s words disappointed him and even insulted him. He expressed his surprise that the Russian leader decided to support Harris, despite their difficult relationship.

Trump, speculating on Putin’s motives, suggested that he might have done so with some hidden agenda or, as he put it, “with a smirk.” Trump, however, stressed that he was not going to get too upset about this, even though he does not fully understand why Putin made that decision.
Trump also noted that during his presidency he pursued the toughest policy towards Russia of any American president, and Putin knows this better than anyone.
Putin’s endorsement of Kamala Harris came at the Eastern Economic Forum, where the Russian leader said he considers her a suitable candidate for the US presidency.
Before this, Putin preferred the current president Joe Biden, but after his refusal to participate in the election race, he changed his sympathies.
The US presidential election will take place on November 5 and Kamala Harris has officially entered the race for the presidency after Biden, at the insistence of his allies, decided not to participate in the election. Harris has already raised a significant sum of $200 million for her campaign in her first week and is ahead of Donald Trump in four key states, according to Bloomberg.
