Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is slightly ahead of his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in all seven swing states, according to an analysis of recent polls by RealClearPolitics.
Swing states are those American states that do not tend to vote consistently for candidates from either party (Republican or Democrat) and that often decide the outcome of presidential elections. In 2024, these states will be considered to be Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada.
As noted, in general, in all swing states, 48.3% of respondents are ready to support Trump, 47.5% – Harris.
According to the portal, Trump leads Harris by 1.4% in Arizona and 1.1% in Georgia. In North Carolina, the former leader leads Harris by 1%, in Michigan, by 0.9%, in Nevada and Pennsylvania, by 0.5%, and in Wisconsin, by 0.1%.
The United States presidential elections will take place on November 5. The Democratic Party will be represented by Vice President Kamala Harris, and the Republican Party by former President Donald Trump.
