United States President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday chose former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., known for his vaccine conspiracy theoriesas the new Secretary of Health. The future president promised that the Ministry of Health would play an important role in ensuring that the the population is protected “from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and food additives” which have contributed to the overwhelming health crisis” that the country is experiencing.
Kennedy Jr., in his opinion, will ensure that these agencies once again comply with the mandates of science “to end the chronic disease epidemic and make America great and healthy again.” At a rally in New York at the end of the campaign, Trump had already argued that if he defeated Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris on November 5, he would allow Kennedy Jr. to “go crazy” with health.
