US Vice President and candidate for head of state, Kamala Harris, was ahead of her opponent, former President Donald Trump, in the vote on the island of Guam, The New York Post reports.
The voting results on the island coincided with the results of the popular vote in every election since 2004, the newspaper noted. Guam has been called the “prophetic region.”
Based on all congressional districts, Harris won 49.46%, while Trump received 46.22%. Four years ago, the current president of the United States joe biden ahead of Trump by 14 percentage points, the publication clarified.
The United States presidential election will take place on Tuesday, November 5. Harris was nominated by the Democratic Party and Trump was nominated by the Republican Party.
On this day, Americans will have to elect not only the president and vice president, but also 33 senators, the entire House of Representatives, as well as the governors of 11 states and two territories, RBC reminds.
