Trump rules out running for 2028 presidential election if he loses to Kamala Harris in November

Former US president and current Republican candidate in the November elections, Donald Trumpsaid in an interview on Sunday that rules out running again in 2028 elections if not elected in the elections this year.

“I don’t think so, that would be it. I don’t see it at all (…) But I think we’re going to succeed (this year),” the tycoon replied on the show Full Measure, by journalist Sharyl Attkisson, when she asked him about this possibility.

Furthermore, during the interview asset left the door open to the possibility of including in his hypothetical cabinet, as President of the United States, to tech entrepreneur Elon Musk or the former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

In fact, the Republican candidate suggested that Kennedy Jr., who suspended his presidential bid and endorsed the former president (2017-2021) last month, would be “excellent on health care and the environment.”

Additionally, Trump acknowledged the “powerful” public support he receives from Musk and agreed that the billionaire couldcould ‘help control government waste’ because, according to him, “he knows very well how to reduce expenses.”

Trump clarified a few weeks ago that would adopt Musk’s plan for a government commission on efficiency to cut federal spending, adding that X’s CEO had agreed to lead the commission “if he had the time.”
