Trump served customers at McDonald’s – EADaily, October 21, 2024 – Politics News, US News

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump walked into a McDonald’s restaurant in Pennsylvania, put on an apron and cooked several servings of fries, then handed them out through the takeout window, saying fast food was on him. CNN reports this.

“I’m looking for a job” – Trump told the owner of the establishment.

“I could do this all day. “I love McDonald’s, I love working, I love seeing good work.” – he added.

Later, the politician, without taking off his apron, improvised a press conference through the car service window. He promised to buy ice cream for a journalist and when asked what he would like to say to his opponent Kamala Harris on her 60th birthday, he responded: “I’d say, ‘Happy birthday, Kamala.’ I think I’ll buy her flowers.”

Trump was also asked if he would support an increase in the minimum wage for McDonald’s employees, and responded: “These people work hard. “They’re great.”

The Republican’s visit to McDonald’s came amid his mockery of Harris. The Democratic candidate previously said she stood at the cash register and made French fries while in college. According to CNN, this happened in the summer of 1983, when the future vice president was studying at Howard University.

“Can you imagine Donald Trump working at McDonald’s? “I couldn’t drive that damn McFlurry machine,” the Minnesota governor said. Tim Walzwhom Harris chose as her vice president.

Trump then doubted that he really worked at McDonald’s and was tired of the process of preparing fast food, RBC recalls.
