The Republican candidate for the White House, Donald Trumpsuggested this Thursday evening that the former MP from her own party Liz Cheney should face a firing squad for their positions on foreign policy.
Cheney and her father, the former Republican vice president Dick Cheney (2001-2009), announced their I am voting for the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, confront Trump and the Republican Party apparatus.
“He’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her there with a rifle and nine cannons pointed at her, ALL RIGHT? Let’s see what he thinks, with guns pointed right in his face,” Trump said at a rally in Arizona.
Cheney, who Trump also defined as “a very stupid person”, campaigned for Harris.

“We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a wicked, vengeful and cruel man. and unstable who aspires to become a tyrant,” he added.
Trump’s statements come amid a bitter election campaign in which the former president also suggested employ military forces to confront the “enemy within”referring to some of his political rivals.
Cheney, who became number 3 Republican in the House of Representatives, was one of the few to have dared to stand up to Trump during his mandate, something that cost him his position as a congressman and ostracism within the party.
