The former president of the United States and candidate for the next elections Donald Trump responded in an original way to the comments of President Joe Biden, who described his followers as “trash.”
Upon arriving in Wisconsin, Trump wowed reporters by climbing into the cab of a garbage truck emblazoned with his campaign slogan: “Make America Great Again.”
In the video, Trump, dressed in a bright reflective vest, smiled and asked reporters, “What do you think of my garbage truck?” and added that it was “dedicated to Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.”

Note that President Joe Biden previously used the word “trash” during one of his speeches when talking about Trump supporters. The comment was in response to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who said at a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York that Puerto Rico was “an island of garbage floating in the ocean.” Biden, commenting on the comedian’s statements, said that “the only trash floating around is his followers.”
While in the cab of a garbage truck, Trump emphasized that “he loves Puerto Rico and Puerto Rico loves him.”
“I don’t know anything about this comedian,” he added, “I just love Puerto Rico. Nobody has done more for Puerto Rico than me.”
While noting that he “doesn’t know” Hinchcliffe, Trump also emphasized that the comedian’s comments had nothing to do with his stance.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris issued a statement disassociating herself from Biden’s words. He noted that he does not share the president’s opinion and is against criticizing Americans based on their political preferences.
“I think you’ve clarified your statement, but I want to emphasize that I strongly disagree with any attacks on people because of their political preferences,” Harris said.
He added that he intends to represent all Americans, regardless of how they vote in the elections.
