Trump vs. Harris: WSJ poll shows who can handle Gaza war better

Former US President Donald Trump has a clear lead over Vice President Kamala Harris among state-level voters on who would best handle the war between Israel and Hamas, according to a new Wall Street Journal poll. On this issue, 48% prefer the Republican candidate, 33% prefer the Democratic candidate.

Trump also leads among independent voters on this issue: 43% think Trump would do a better job, 26% say Harris, and the rest chose neither option.

Additionally, former Republican President Donald Trump has an advantage over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on who can best handle the war in Ukraine.

In a poll conducted in seven key states, 50% of voters said Trump would be better able to handle a large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, while 39% of respondents preferred Harris.

More voters also said they supported Trump on the economy and immigration, while more said Harris would do a better job on housing, health care and caring for people like them.
