Argentine President Javier Miley will meet with US President-elect Donald Trump next week, Reuters reports, citing an Argentine government official.
The meeting will take place at Trump’s residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. The agency source said that Miley also plans to meet in the United States with Elon Musk.
Reuters notes that Miley, after assuming the position of head of state in December 2023, sought to establish close ties with the United States. After the US election, he set off fireworks and made several social media posts in support of Trump.
