Trump’s election victory: Houthis make a statement

Houthi terrorists made a statement about Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections.

This was reported by the Alexey Zheleznov Telegram channel.

A senior Houthi spokesman, Muhammad al-Bahiti, noted that their military operations in the Red Sea and in Israel will continue despite Trump’s election.

He stated that these actions will stop only if the genocide in Gaza ends and the blockade of its residents is lifted. Al-Bahiti also added that in the event of a new escalation, they are prepared to respond by intensifying attacks.

Previously, Cursor wrote that Iran spoke boldly about Trump’s victory, mentioning Israel.

Following Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections, Iranian officials remain calm. The deputy commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Ali Fadavi, said Iran was prepared for a possible confrontation with Israel, adding that a pre-emptive strike by the United States or Israel could not be ruled out.

Meanwhile, Arab and Western sources told Reuters that Trump could resume his “maximum pressure” strategy on Iran, leading to greater sanctions on the Iranian oil industry. These same sources warn that the US president could pressure Israel to attack Iranian nuclear facilities or carry out targeted assassinations.

Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said the U.S. election has no direct impact on Iran’s policies, which remain stable. He stressed that the Iranian leaders are prepared for any development of events and no changes are foreseen in the lives of the country’s citizens.

During his first term, Trump reinstated sanctions on Iran following the United States’ withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal, causing significant economic hardship for Iran, including declining export revenues, rising inflation, and rising taxes.

In the Arab world, the US elections are attracting a lot of attention. Saudi newspaper Asharq al-Awsat celebrated Trump’s victory with the headline “Trump defeats Harris” as Arabs look at the possible consequences for the region, including issues related to Gaza and Lebanon, and wonder if the elections will bring peace or will strengthen the conflict.

The Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar said the US election presaged more turmoil in the Middle East, and emphasized that the results of the vote could have a significant impact on the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Lebanese newspaper Al-Jumhuriya said that regardless of who wins, Trump or Harris, US policy towards Israel will not change. According to the publication, both Democrats and Republicans seek to strengthen relations with Israel and protect its interests and, in fact, the Arab world faces a choice between two unpleasant options.
