The US President threatens the BRICS states, but this is not caught. Because the alliance for a long time was an alternative to the global south.
U S-President Donald Trump will again clean the rebellion. At night, from Sunday to Monday, he posted threats to the BRICS state association, which was in the Brazilian Rio de Ganero and criticized Trump’s customs policy on the social network. “Each country that joins the anti -American policy of BRICS is engaged in an additional inch ten percent,” Trump wrote.
In addition to the namesake of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, Brix also belonged to Egypt, Ethiopia, Argentina, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates since 2023. This is the most important fusion of economically strong states about the co -authorized global south – and, therefore, against the Old West. The response of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China: BRICS is not looking for confrontation, and there is no purpose of the Earth.
Now the United States for a long time was on the descent as world power, we have long arrived in a multiple world order. And yet: the US president accelerates the passes of his strict customs policy, the costs of which he does not care about his own population, but perhaps even more with his rhetoric, politicized trade. A clumsy attempt to blackmail other countries in an alliance with the United States is simply not updated- because America has lost political capital.
Because BRICS is a real alternative to the United States and Europe for many countries. They represent more than 35 percent of the global gross domestic product. Large projects of the alternative World Bank and its own leading currency are gradually developing to replace the dollar, but trade relations and investments are growing steadily.
And Brix does not connect them with moral standards. Western claims to the world order based on the rules have long been hypocritical – recently it shows how to deal with Israel, which does not concern international law in gas. The question remains whether Europe understood the turn.
