He the mayor of Tudela, Alejandro Toquero, presented this morning, with Treasury Advisor Reyes Carmona, the broad outlines of the Budget 2025 which will be debated at the next plenary session and amounts to 54,517,250 euros, or 25.5% more than the previous year.
“We follow the path of this first impulse of second term and we present to citizens a budget that gives continuity to the work started, commits to new infrastructures that last over time and better, intensely social services. In short, budgets intended for consolidate the transformation of the city »Toquero said in relation to the preliminary draft presented.
In this sense, they are intended 3.5 million euros for the city’s sports infrastructure. On the one hand, a leisure and recreation area will be built in the old facilities of the Ciudad de Tudela and new swimming pools with pediment on Narangel Avenue.
On the other hand, the final impetus will be given to the Green Temple of Tudelagranting it 50,000 euros for its equipment and another 250,000 for external management, and includes an item of 65,000 euros to continue adapting the arenas to legal requirements.
In addition, 364,000 euros are included for the “Coscolín” Project. Regarding activities for Tudela Festivals, The allocation increases from 430,000 to 460,000 euros.
Increased conservation and maintenance
The mayor stressed the importance of don’t neglect the city and daily operation. “Tudela, with its dimensions, requires a high load of maintenance and conservation.”
In this context, an object is collected for new machines, equipment and instruments at the music school and those for preserving schools and civic centers are increasing. The cost of maintaining parks and gardens increases, from 277,000 to 355,000 euros, and that of streets and agricultural paths, from 125,000 to 175,000 euros.
Likewise, he undertakes to watering maintenance, with an allocation of 195,000 euros and the improvement of the Molinar cycle path, the amount of which amounts to 350,000 euros. Items are also created to improve the food market and graveyard.
Finally, Toquero expressed his satisfaction with the economic and financial situation of Tudela. “This is something that we do not neglect and that is why, without increasing rates or taxes, we continue to look for our alternative financing methods.”
“THE 2025 municipal budgets -he added- not only do they represent a historic record for their amount but they are a reflection of the commitment of this corporation to the development of Tudela, to the well-being of citizens and the transformation of our city on a social level , economy, leisure and urban planning,” he declared.
Frozen prices
For his part, the treasury advisor highlighted the freezing of rates for 2025. “This budget promotes the development of our city without increasing the tax pressure, for another year we have frozen taxes, rates and public prices,” said Carmona.
“So much so,” he added, “that this year the Department of Territorial Wealth approved a new assessment report for Tudela and the City Council maintained the tax rates it applied to the contribution, or 0.3791%.”
Budget distribution
The income is as follows:

Concerning expenses:
Those of the staff, who They represent 44.25% of the budgetamount to 24,128,071.99 euros.
- Expenditure on current goods and services, the amount amounts to 18,208,685.05 euros.
Within this chapter, commercial and tourist activities remain at 65,000 euros and 140,000 euros respectively. Those of Women and equality and 373,000 euros are allocated to sport. Sports equipment costs are also increased by 12,000 euros.
