Turkish companies call on the country’s authorities to resolve the issue of trade with Russia

Turkish analyst Serhat Latifoglu, quoted by RIA Novosti today, September 24, confirmed that problems in the banking sector and in trade between Turkey and Russia have already forced exporters in his country to turn to the authorities for help in solving them. The reason for the current difficulties is the increasing pressure from the United States, which is forcing Turkish companies to end trade relations with their partners in Russia.

The expert also clarified that there are no official decisions yet.

“We, the government agencies, receive requests from our exporters who do business directly with Russia. There are problems with receiving transfers; for our part, since January we have been communicating with the relevant government agencies with a request to find solutions to this situation. But there is still no solution.” – says Serhat Latifoglu.

EADaily It also previously reported how US restrictions against the Russian Federation took Turkish companies by surprise.
