Restoration of the mosque in the liberated village of Gochahmadli in the Fuzuli region will begin.
The “Report” informs that this is stipulated in the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Sphere of Protection and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments Located in the Territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, signed between the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and the Culture and Heritage Foundation of Turkey.
The document was signed by the head of the state service, Sabina Hajiyeva, and the president of the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, Aktotı Raimkulova.
The signing of the MoU is aimed at preserving, restoring and preserving historical and cultural monuments located on the territory of Azerbaijan and under state protection, organizing training courses in the relevant direction, as well as further expanding cooperation in the field of cultural heritage.
According to the memorandum, the Fund will initially support the restoration of the mosque in the village of Goçehmadli, Fuzuli.
At the signing ceremony, it was stressed that the development of relations with the sister Turkish republics in all areas, especially the strengthening of cultural ties, is gratifying.
