“The member countries of the Organization of Turkish States (TDT) have taken an important step towards green transformation.”
Oku.Az “Haber Global” reports that this was stated by Mustafa Tuzcu, Deputy Minister of Commerce of Türkiye.
The ministers responsible for economy and trade of the CIS countries, meeting within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Baku, decided to increase cooperation on environmental issues, digital economy and development.
Tuzcu emphasized that DTT countries will adapt their policies to the green transformation and share their experiences in this field. He also said that they will carry out joint activities to access financial resources in the fight against climate change.
“Türkiye has great experience derived from the green transformation legislation of the Customs Union and the EU. We want to share this experience with brother countries,” Tuzcu said.
He also expressed that they hope that cooperation between DTT countries will be an example for other international organizations.
