Two men who participated in the Torremolinos-Andalusia Triathlon World Cup have died this Thursday while they were carrying out the tests for this championship, as reported by the Triathlon World Championship through a press release published on their profiles on different social networks.
One of the deceased was from Mexico and the other had arrived on the Costa del Sol from Great Britain to participate in this Triathlon which started this Thursday and ends next Sunday.
The triathletes were perform testing for the World Triathlon Series Finals. Both were in this age category and died in separate incidents, one of them in the race and another in the swimming test.
In one of the cases, the 112 emergency service received a call at 4:15 p.m. in which witnesses warned that There was a person passed out on the Paseo Marítimo de Torremolinos during the race.
