An explosion in a factory in the industrial zone of Ibi (Alicante) left two dead, two seriously injured and one missing, according to the Provincial Firefighters Consortium.
The incident forced the mobilization of up to seven teams of firefighters from the Provincial Delegation of Alicante and health personnel, as reported by Urgences 112 Comunitat Valenciana through the social network rubble, according to the Consortium.
Around noon, the Consortium received notification of the incident, recorded in a warehouse on Calle Murcia, in the city, when a boiler exploded and collapsed part of the factory, the roof and part of the walls of the ‘business.
Following these events, several people who were on board the ship, three in number, were trapped by the debris, according to the Consortium. Firefighters rescued two of them. Part of the roof was thrown off by the explosion and hit an adjacent warehouse, although in this case only material damage was reported.
The Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) mobilized a medical helicopter, three units of the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) and four other units of Basic Life Support (BLS) to the scene of the emergency. ‘event. A leadership command unit has been mobilized within the Consortium; a heavy urban bomb; two heavy rural bombs; a light urban bomb; a heavy mother bomb; a rescue van consisting of an officer, a sergeant, five corporals and 14 firefighters from Ibi, Cocentaina, San Vicente and Villena parks, in addition to Alpha 01 with a rescue group.
