Two people were killed, and two more were seriously injured as a result of shooting on Wednesday morning near the village of Maguirsbridge in Northern Ireland.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said that there was no constant threat to the public and that the incident, according to the visible, was isolated. The village is located about 120 kilometers south -west from the Belfast.
According to the authorities, the police and rescuers were invited to the residence in this area shortly after 7 in the morning (local time). Two wounded were transferred to different hospitals, where they were hospitalized with serious injuries.
No arrests have been made so far, and the police officially did not announce a potential stimulus. However, in the post on the platform X (previously Twitter), Jem Dolan, a member of the Northern Ireland Convention on the sinful fain, called this incident as a “family business”.
“I am shocked, but my first thoughts with the dead and their wider family circle,” he said. “Please do not speculate – let the study follow his legal course.”
Deborah Erskin, a member of the Party of the Democratic Union (DUP) from the region, also expressed its sadness: “The local community has been overloaded. This is a rural and quiet area, and everyone was greatly influenced by what happened this morning. ”
“I express my deepest condolences to the families of victims. Their life was overthrown in a moment. “
