Around 9:35 p.m. this Thursday, a truck responsible for transporting containers of urban waste lost its load on Cuesta de Tentenecio, in the center of Salamanca, causing the container to collide with two pedestrians.
As a result, one of the injured was transferred to the Salamanca hospital complex.
The driver of the truck was subjected to a breathalyzer test, which came back negative.
Despite this, it will be proposed for sanction, while the Local Police will investigate the specific causes of the detachment of the element, causing, in turn, the partial cutting of the road during the intervention.
Basic Life Support (BLS) was dispatched to the scene to care for the victims. The second person affected was treated on scene and did not require transfer.
