Two men, aged 30 and 33, were arrested on Thursday morning in Palencia as alleged perpetrators of a crime of sexual assault against two minors.
The events took place during the local fairs in San Antolín, at 00:22, when the victims, aged 14 and 16, alerted the local police that they had been sexually assaulted.
According to the authorities, the patrol that was carrying out its control work on the central Paseo del Salón was approached by the two young women, who said they had been subjected to non-consensual touching by two men.
The minors were able to provide the officers with various information that allowed them to identify the alleged attackers and, thanks to them, twenty minutes later the police managed to locate the two men in a bar in Plaza España, where the victims immediately identified them.
Based on the evidence presented, the officers arrested the two youths, who have already been brought to justice.
