Several agents belonging to the main post of the Civil Guard of Majadahonda, as part of Operation “Vitrum”, arrested two people, a man and a woman of Spanish origin, aged 42 and 41, residents of the town , for their alleged involvement in 40 crimes. forceful theft from vehicles.
The investigation began in mid-October, when several citizens reported being forcefully robbed from inside their cars while parked. All the complaints coincided with the same modus operandi: at night, they broke the windows and took away the valuables that were inside. In the same night, up to seven cars were stolen.
The progress of the investigation made it possible to locate a house in the municipality of Madrid that the perpetrators could use as a center of operations and storage location for the various items stolen from the cars.

Once sufficient evidence was obtained, the competent judicial authority authorized the registration of the property on October 30, with the support of the Citizen Security Unit (USECIC) and with the collaboration of the local police, thus obtaining the arrest of the two perpetrators, who have a total of 90 arrests for similar events.
Effects exceeding 11,000 euros were recovered, including sports equipment, glasses, accessories and various documents, and the damage to the vehicles was estimated at 8,000 euros.
For these facts, they are accused of 40 offenses of forceful theft from inside a vehicle and illegal possession of weapons, made available to the competent Judicial Authority on October 31, 2024.
