The Civil Guard of Albacete arrested two people, aged 41 and 45, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health, in the form of drug trafficking, after seizing them. 1,100 grams of cocaine hidden in the air filter of the vehicle in which they were traveling.
The operation carried out by members of the Citizen Security Unit (USECIC) of the Albacete Civil Guard Command took place within the framework of the operational measures that the body carries out in the province and which aim to control the movement of people and vehicles suspected of having committed crimes against property and drug trafficking, reported Benemérita.
During one of these checks, carried out in the A-31 motorway (Albacete-Alicante) in the municipal area of the provincial capital, officers stopped a vehicle that appeared suspicious.
