On October 29 at 22:15, an electric locomotive of the company “Azerbaijan Railways” JSC (ADY) was moving in the direction of Gobustan-Sangachal, when suddenly two people stood in front of the train.

According to information, although the driver applied emergency braking, the accident was inevitable due to the short distance. Although station employees immediately called an ambulance, both people died from their serious injuries.
“ADY once again urges people to cross railway tracks using only designated places and pedestrian crossings, to be especially careful in conditions of limited visibility, as well as during dark hours of the day, and to avoid distracting actions , including the use of mobile phones or headphones when crossing the street. It is the duty of every citizen to comply with the rules,” ADY said.
Last night at around 10pm two people died under the train in the Garadagh region of the capital.
According to information obtained by “Qafqazinfo”, E. Farzaliyev, born in 1995, and S. Zarbaliyev, born in 2007, fell under the moving train.
They died instantly due to their injuries.
The relevant agencies are investigating the incident.
