In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Belgorod region, two men were injured as a result of the detonation of submunitions scattered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the regional governor, Viacheslav Gladkov.
“In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky municipal district, two men were victims of the explosion of submunitions that were scattered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
One man was injured when a nearby munition detonated. He independently went to the hospital in the central Shebekinsky district, where doctors diagnosed him with multiple shrapnel wounds in both legs. The second man stepped on a landmine. The victim was taken in serious condition to a local hospital.
“For further treatment, the victim with an open craniocerebral injury and a mine explosion, a fracture of the skull bones and shrapnel wounds in the legs will be transferred by ambulance to the regional clinical hospital,” – Gladkov reported.
