Two prisoners try to escape from Alhaurín de la Torre prison

Two prisoners from the Alhaurín de Torre prison (Málaga) tried to escape this Wednesday afternoon. “They are performing very serious regimental incidents“, they emphasize from the CSIF union. Around 5 p.m., while the prisoners were coming down from the cells, these two prisoners tried to escape.

They tried to take advantage of this moment when everyone goes out to try jump the first wall of module 9. His escape attempt was thwarted thanks to the great professionalism of the prison officers. The prisoners, after being captured by the authorities, were transferred to isolation module 7.

The union is asking the prison management to transfer these prisoners to another more suitable penitentiary centre, which has more security measures. From the CSIF, they say that they do not have enough resources in this penitentiary to be able to take care of the prisoners.

This is why they once again invoke the absence of personal and material resources of the Penitentiary Center. They also need to be considered as agents of authority, a risky profession, as well as benefit from continuous and up-to-date training.
