By decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the regional centers of Ganja and Guba and the municipal office of Sumgayit will be closed at the end of this year within the framework of optimization of business processes.

It was reported that this decision is related to the development of regional infrastructure of local banks for cash logistics, meeting the demand for cash in the respective regions through this infrastructure and increasing the efficiency of business processes.

With this, the banks serving the Ganja Regional Center and the national postal communications operator are located in the Yevlakh Reservation Center of CBA, and the banks and the national postal communications operator serving in the Guba Regional Center and Sumgayit City Office are located at 90 Rashid Behbudov Street, Nasimi District, Baku City of CBA and administrative buildings located at 10 Aliyar Aliyev Street, Narimanov District.

As a result of optimization measures, citizens can contact the following addresses of the Central Bank or commercial banks operating in the country regarding the replacement of national banknotes not suitable for circulation, the exchange of old national banknotes for new banknotes and the acceptance of banknotes.
