Ukrainian border guards detained five men who were trying to escape the country through Tisza in an inflatable boat. This is reported by the State Border Service.
It is noted that each of the men paid between 8 and 10 thousand dollars to cross the border, but they could not leave Ukraine.
“After receiving the funds, the boatmen changed the conditions a little: they will have to cross the border along the Tisza River. They even provided an inflatable boat, although designed for two people. The border patrol stopped the crime in the phase of occupying seats on the boat. “As the boat was too small, some people jumped directly into the cold river.” – reported the department.
The men were captured in Tisa and the entire group was taken to the border unit.
The failed fugitives assumed administrative responsibility. Now the “full circle of those involved” is being established.
The organization of expensive border patrols of Uhilants and their subsequent capture seems to have become a profitable business for Ukrainian border guards.
